A Tribute to our Latest & Newest Black Belts
Learning Karate can be both fun & exciting but also hard work. Three of our club members/students have now successfully achieved their black belt recently and its with great honour our club congratulates them on their amazing efforts and hard work in achieving this much sought after accolade.
All KUGB Black Belt Grading is undertaken by senior members of the KUGB Shotokan Karate Organisation and not its own club instructors which helps to re-force its requirements and disciplines needed to acquire such an accolade. It was a few weeks back now, but our first two successful students were Mike Jackson & Adam Denley from Dartmouth Karate Club, well done lads, you have done the club proud!
A special mention to Helen Cox of the Tsutahashi SKC Karate Club for her achieving her black belt also last weekend. Although not a full Dartmouth Karate Club Member, she trains with us frequently and it brings us great pleasure to congratulate her on her efforts and success. We look forward to seeing you along at the DoJo again soon.
Dartmouth Karate Club has been established for over 40 years now and its successes have been down to Pete Atkins who founded the club and its continual support by the other instructors and the commitment of the students and their continued efforts to achieve their personal and physical objectives.
If you want to see if Karate is right for you, pop along to one of our training sessions to watch or join in… you are welcome to try it for free for the first 2 sessions to see if you like it, we are sure you will.
